Who? What? Piippo and Stoor tops Paju in Meilahden XVI Milleniumi

In what will likely be the last event of the 2014 for Seppo Paju (36744), one of Finland's best cross-Atlantic competitors and winner of the 2014 European Championships (what the Euro's just call, "The Championships"), third place will have to do. After completing two oddly numbered rounds of 17 holes, Ville Piippo (27555) and four-digit-PDGA-numbered Jalle Stoor (8992) finished first and second respectively. Piippo posted the best two disc golf rounds of any competitors: 38 and 39. The tournament, Meilahden XVI Milleniumi, was sponsored by Westside Disc Golf and held in Helsinki, Finland on Sunday, December 28th.

As the professional competition branches into another continent in 2015, heading to the island of Australia for the Aussie Open at the end of January, we can expect the European players will continue to have an impact on disc golf's elite events.
